Salisbury House

Tasked with creating a fresh, modern identity to visually distinguish the house from its neighbours, the new extension delivers a striking architectural statement. The first floor features a new master bedroom with vaulted ceiling and corner window to provide uninterrupted views of the garden. Downstairs, the home has been opened up to accommodate a large, flexible kitchen and living space that seamlessly connects to the rear garden, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living.
The exterior cladding, crafted from Brimstone Ash, will weather to a beautiful silvery-grey hue over time. Laid in an alternating pattern with varying widths, the cladding gives the home a playful, organic appearance - a dynamic counterpoint to the clean, modern lines of the architecture.
The design not only elevates the home's visual appeal, but also enhances the owner's daily experience, providing ample natural light, garden vistas, and a fluid, flexible living environment. The result is a house that feels simultaneously contemporary and timeless, a harmonious balance of form and function.
